Savour Jamaica Supper Club – The Rising Sun

July 5, 2013

Just in case you were under the impression that I had deserted The Yummy Truth due to my absence online, have no fear because I am back! Last week Saturday the first dinner event for Savour Jamaica Supper Club, The Rising Sun, took place at Iberostar Grand Hotel, Rose Hall, Montego Bay in partnership with Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ) and Ocean Style Magazine. Guests enjoyed a stunning menu created and executed by chef Scott Hallsworth, formerly of Nobu, showcasing the best of Japanese cuisine paired with wines courtesy of CPJ. Prior to the meal there were  CPJ bespoke cocktails served and after the feast the party took place at the Iberostar nightclub. The event got rave reviews in the national papers – Jamaica Gleaner & Jamaica Observer – but don’t take my word for it, see for yourself! Keep up to date via www.savourjamaica.com, @SavourJamaica & www.facebook.com/SavourJamaica, hope to see you at the next event 🙂
