Pasta for the Soul

May 19, 2017

If you’re just joining me you might think that I only know how to cook pasta since my last recipe was “Quick Creamy Pasta” but when I decided yesterday that my lunch was too good not to share with you I forgot that in December 2015 I had already told you how I feel about pasta. Anyway my relationship with pasta is so deep that it could be featured week after week but don’t worry my waistline couldn’t handle it and so you don’t have to either.

I’m Back from Brixton

May 10, 2017

So I haven’t blogged in years and I’m not even sure where to begin. OK it’s been 6 months but in cyber space that must be equivalent to at leat 6 years. After arriving I began doing some research and it didn’t take long to figure out why some people described Budapest as the Paris of Eastern Europe. I truly believe there is something for everyone, especially foodies! (Just don’t let your sister book a dinner cruise on a bubble boat and you can’t go wrong). During the day there’s tourist sights to see, if that’s your thing, or you can vacation like me and eat, drink and eat again. I have compiled a list of some things I think you must do, if you are visiting Budapest and a few things I wish I had known before I went. Continue Reading…

Quick Creamy Pasta

December 10, 2015

Quick Creamy PastaI’ve been absent for a little but you can blame my new venture, Three Little Birds, in Brixton for that. By day it’s a café and boutique, by night it’s a kitchen and rum bar; all inspired by Jamaica, so come say hi soon. I literally live there, morning, noon and night but recently I was asked to share a quick recipe for an interview so I had to make the time to cook and take pictures.  Continue Reading…
